Completed a half-marathon (~21 km) in beautiful Sedona, AZ today. Set a new personal record for longest distance ran without stopping. Finished in about 1:40. The course was hilly but had amazing scenery and lots of supporters rooting everyone on. Legs felt strong throughout but my right knee started to hurt (previously injured) around the 8th mile. It’s very sore now. I’m amazed how smooth the cardiovascular system handled the run… I didn’t get winded at all. It’s kind of a good feeling to be able to run past people with your mouth closed while they are gasping for air. (the power of fruits + veg baby!) I’m gonna relax and eat the rest of the day… Feeling pretty damn good :)
